The ChangeMakers Connect Forums are back!
Towards the end of 2022, we took a break to analyze all the feedback from previous forums to inform the next iteration of our ChangeMakers Connect Forums. The main purpose was to ensure that these forums continue to foster meaningful engagements that will provide the needed support for this global network of women leaders in nutrition and food systems to implement the 8 courageous leadership practices.
One change we are introducing in the next series is for forum participants to hear about the experiences and lessons learned of groups or organizations working to improve nutrition and food systems, and to redress power imbalances. Our aim is to shed light on the journey the organizations have undertaken, reflect on the obstacles met, and the victories achieved.
By participating in the forums you will have the opportunity to listen to stories of successes and learn how to navigate challenges in leadership related to power imbalances. Our hope is that these forums will provide opportunities for individuals and groups to network, identify collaborators and/or form partnerships through connections from the NGLC.
If your organization or initiative would be interested in sharing their experiences in navigating the dynamics of power imbalances through our forums, please let us know. We also welcome any recommendations.

Past Events
On March 30th 2022, The Next Gen(D)eration Leadership Collective launched Achieving A Well-Nourished World: A Manifesto for Leadership. Transforming nutrition and food systems depends on transforming leadership. Solutions to poor-quality diets and inequitable, unsustainable food systems exist—what is missing is the leadership needed to put these solutions to work. Accelerating progress towards a well-nourished world is going to take courageous leadership capable of navigating complex, systemic challenges; it will mean unleashing the power of women to redefine leadership and reimagine new systems. This is our Manifesto for transforming how we lead and who leads.
